yippppeeeeeeeeeeee

i am finally able to login to my blog from office! the websense in office blocks Blogger as "Social Networking and Personal" site. Later on i cud read my blog but not write! as if looking at "social networking" stuff was fine but taking active part was not secure.....

now the question is that how on the earth am i getting time to write here? after all, as my friends wud agree, i am always busy!!! if someone asks me to give them a time when i wud be free to talk leisurely for an hour - i wud hum and hawww and then finally ask to be allowed to call back.....i wud feel guilty about not talking in leisure and started wishing away my cellphone......until one day i felt enuf was in fact enuf and i shud be doing better time management and shud be having more time to myself. when i look at my daily routine, i find it full of cooking, office, cooking, shopping, doing other errands etc etc - i am not able to find a single hour where i can just relax and read a book.....and until you get time to commune with your self, how can you be ready to be a social being. Not that i am complaining - given a choice between having too less time and having too much free time, i wud opt for the former any day. this was reinforced to me today when i have no work in office after a long time....and instead of being happy i am cribbing and asking everyone for work. i think that it has become a disease - this thing of being busy at all times - and actually i am not doing work proportional to time spent. but then when i try to analyse my routine, i am really not able to find any place to cut down, except maybe office!!!!

so the end result of all that analysis and introspection was not a creation of time, but the discovery of an easier route to happiness - simply stop feeling guilty and blame the cellphone! it is the cellphone which has made me a hostage - it has made communication simpler but in the process it has broken all the lines of personal space and the "personal space" which was a given thing in the past is now a coveted thing in the present. I HAVE to attend the call when it comes - even if i cannot talk, i HAVE to receive the call and tell the person that i cannot talk at that moment and i wud call bak ASAP. Even if i cannot receive the call, i am spsd to go thru all the missed calls in my list and call that person bak immediately! cell phone ke mohtaaj hain...well this is the price we pay for technology i guess......

well enuf of this...finally i have some work so i better get that done.....
