nothing much has happened in the last few days except that i had to go to office on saturday after all....and it was really lousy as the everybody in the hostel either had a holiday or had made one....came bak at 6...whole day wasted in office :)
sunday all of us spent lazing around and although we planned to go to the malls in the evening none of us felt like it, esp after bearing the heat during lunch...i went to the library and spent the whole afternoon in AC watching Basic Instintcts 2. To tell the truth, i did not understand till the end who the murderer really was :(
y the post title???? Actually "IF" by Rudyard Kipling is my favorite poem and my inspiration, support, confidence booster everything....my sister had gifted me a framed version when i was in first year engg and it has actually compensated for her physical absence to a good measure. It has become the support i always found in her. it effectively fulfils my need for external support ; at the same time helping me avoid my fear of dependence on people who might not be in my life any longer when i need them. its importance to me was reinforced when my dearest friend RUMMY called up to ask me the meaning of "IF". i had actually written the poem in her diary and she wanted the meaning after three years!!!!
