A very happy valentines day to everybody.....i see that i made this in the nick of time!!!
so how did i celebrate???? although i wud have wished to get flowers or at the very least the mandatory cakes/chocolate, unfortunately for me, nobody would go to that length for an old maid like me......
the high point of the day - me and manju are now officially on 'jeevansathi' tan nan naaa....do u hear bells ringing......yes, maybe u do.....sadly, they are not wedding bells but alarm bells....i am sooooo way past my expiry date that i have been on jeevansathi for one full day and i am yet to receive a 'contact'.....well, i am keeping my fingers crossed and request you to do the same (for me, not for yourself)....
so lets see what else has been happening.....THE marriage is finally over....and the most prominent feeling is that of relief.....i had been really stressed out both physically and mentally over the past few months and on the last day, i cud not even sleep....but it was a task well done and a milestone achieved....i even remembered to dance in the baraat.......
it seems so odd that we have a new member in the household....we were so used to the current structure.....
and of course, the inevitable has happened....the pressure on me has increased many folds suddenly!! its as if everybody feels its their duty to remind me that i am next in line....in fact i have remained too long in the line.....but everyone is lost once i ask them to look for someone for me :-)
lets see what the future holds....new year for me is life post bhai's marriage......
