ITS THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAIN!

Exams began today.....last few days I (not we) was under a lot of pressure since i need to pass! (although manghani has higher stakes since he needs to have his double degree with distinction, he has this illusion that indian students are anyday better than the ppl here, and is the case with manghani's all beliefs/arguments, this also has no real basis!)

This pressure mounted as Manghani and Dada continued to sleep till 1 in the afternoon and i continued to fall asleep promplty at 12 night. My sleep follows a burst type of curve.....3 min of snoring and then 10 min of full concentration....then as dada and shafi get engrossed in a highly technical intellectual discussion, me and manghani get tired of waiting for the easier crumbs and drift off.......Manghani tries to prove to us that whatever happens we cannot fail (which we have a fair chance of doing) and insists on feeling hungry every 2 hours.....on the other side we have shafi who did not want to have dinner as he was too tensed! dada hai jise sab kuch aata hai....beech mein fans jaati hoon main!!!!

We had been spending more time discussing the seating arrangements compared to time spent on actual studying. if they seated us by roll nos (as is logical) then anee, dada, me, manghani would come together in order. but since france is a "developed" country and not logical, we expected to be seated by surnames where in Das Anee would come with De Shubhashis and Manghani Vineet would happily get Merchant Shafi while Pande Deepti would be left to fend for herself! But it so happened that france is even more "developed" than we gave it credit for and hence even more arbit than we gave it credit for. Here we are allotted just room nos and we can sit anywhere!! So u can imagine the rest!!!!

Time to be jealous of marketing again...as if it was not enuf that in india they had classes from 12 every day while the fin ppl had to attend the 8.30 ones...here also the RG continued...they had a total of 22 working days in the entire 3 months...and now they have just one exam of one hour today and they are over with the course! while we write 3 papers of 3 hours each and 1 paper of 4 hours (i dont know how i can sit for even half that time given the level of the course!)

Thats if for today...Our ans books have the information section (where we put in name, roll no, sub etc) in french....Vijay continues to sit on the first bench even during exams...Lokesh continues to prove his superiority by racing to leave the room first and the guy sitting in front of me had 1L of water, 500ml of Coke, 1 bar of chocolate and 1 energy bar for the 3 hour exam which could be easily done in max 2 hours!!!

Hopefully we pass the papers! Amen!
