It is difficult to pin point the exact time when the marriage season started in full swing....esp for the engg batchmates....for mdi ppl, it was more discernible as people just fell into the business of getting married as soon as the course finished (some lucky people in love cud not wait even for that!) and 6 months down the line it was in full swing....Among the lateral people, i am one of the dwindling few who still tenaciously hold on to dear status....but we are made to feel as if we missed the bus!!
Now that the marriage season was in a perpetual ON state, the baby season started catching up.....if marriages are taking place right, left, front and center, babies are not far behind and coming right and left......visit orkut pages of most friends and you will find discussions of baby pictures, teeth, crawling and in some ancient cases - even schools!!
yahan to kab din se rat aur fir wapis din hota hai pata nahi chalta....i have been accused of not updating my friends on my life....it made me sit back and think of the many friendships which died or broke off just because the other person failed to share with important events in his/her life.....so this is a grave sin in my eyes.....but when i sit and try to collect imporatant updates in my life, i realise that i live in a haze of office and domesticity....at least i had the gym till two weeks ago, ab to woh bhi nahi hai.....
and yes, i miss talking to, meeting, hanging out with all my friends....at this point of time, even when i take out the time to call, i dont have anything to talk about! i begin to fumble for topics!!! i feel really sad when i make time and mood to call someone and then the call is over from my side after 3 min :-)
